hi, this is my corner of the internet
My name is Jamie Fleming, and I write everything on starr-art.com myself. The blog started with one shooter and grew into a shelf of games, because that is how my evenings actually look.
I grew up on pixel art, chunky menus and quests that tell you almost nothing. That taste never left. Even in modern shooters I notice the little icons first.
what I play
- World of Warcraft, mostly the Pandaria years. Dailies, class tinkering and wandering off the road.
- ARC Raiders, where I am usually too curious for my own survival.
- Warzone, in short sessions when I want adrenaline without a plot.
- Destiny 2, which is where this blog began.
- Escape from Tarkov, played carefully and with a lot of muttering.
how I write
I play first, take notes while the memory is fresh, and write later with a cold drink nearby. Short paragraphs. Plain words. If I do not know something, I say so instead of bluffing.
I do not test with a lab full of accounts. What you read comes from my own sessions, my own mistakes and the occasional retry.
setup habits
A comfortable chair, a second screen for notes, and a folder of half-named screenshots I swear I will sort. I change one thing at a time when testing, so I can tell what actually helped.
I also keep a paper list of quests I want to finish, because crossing things out feels good.
say hello
If a post helped, or got something wrong, write to info@starr-art.com. I read every message myself.
